We are back to our regular program! This week on the show Kathryn catches up with Crystal Anthony a few days ahead of her recent 9th place finish at the Leadville 100. The Bentonville-based athlete grew up in a cycling family, but first set her competitive sights on collegiate running. After missing out on an Olympic marathon qualification by a handful of seconds, Crystal decided to shift her focus to triathlon which eventually led her to cyclocross and then gravel racing. She has now been with the Liv team for seven years, and is consistently cracking the top 10 in the Life Time Grand Prix. Before committing to racing full time, Anthony was a middle school teacher for 12 years. She has maintained her love of teaching, and now gives back to the sport as a cycling coach. This coming year she will be running gravel camps with fellow Bentonviller, Paige Onweller. Link To Podcast
